    We are proud to provide high quality outside school hours care in 23 state schools.  

    Through Jabiru’s broader services, families and school staff can access supported playgroups, individual case management and access support, early intervention referrals and other health and wellbeing initiatives. All designed to strengthen connection and support successful education transitions.

    The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting this next chapter. 

  • About the Role

    As the organisation’s senior financial leader, the CFO will be responsible for overall financial strategy, operational excellence and ensuring the longterm financial sustainability of a growing, purposeled enterprise. A key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CFO will: 

    • provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and Board 
    • lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting 
    • ensure highquality financial reporting and compliance 
    • strengthen systems, processes and financial governance 
    • support decisionmaking across OSHC and community service portfolios 
    • drive organisational capability in data, analytics and performance management

    • Ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly 
    • Strong relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders 
    • Boardlevel engagement experience

  • Ideal Candidate Profile

    The ideal candidate is an experienced financial leader who is motivated by purpose and impact. You will bring demonstrated seniorlevel financial stewardship, experience in complex service environments, and the ability to partner strategically with both the CEO and Executive Leadership Team. 

    You thrive in organisations undergoing uplift or transformation, enjoy improving systems and processes, and bring a steady, collaborative leadership style. Experience in the nonprofit, education, OSHC or community sectors is highly regarded, as is an ability to translate financial insights into practical, actionable advice.
