Imagine stepping into a role where your passion for making a difference meets your expertise in fundraising. As the Head of Fundraising, you will be the driving force behind mission, generating the vital income that allows the delivery of impactful activities. Leadership will be the cornerstone of your success, guiding both internal and external projects to ensure campaigns thrive.
In this role, you will take ownership and implementation of a comprehensive 3–5-year fundraising strategy, setting ambitious targets and establishing a robust governance structure. Your strategic vision will be complemented by your ability to create policies and procedures that streamline all fundraising programs. From workplace giving to major gifts, corporate partnerships to community fundraising, your related practical experience will oversee it all, ensuring revenue targets and productivity goals are met.
Developing and driving increased donor engagement, you thrive in nurturing relationships to ensure every donor has an exceptional experience. By setting the strategic direction of appeals and projects, you will reinforce brand values and position this organisation as a leader in the community. Regular reports and analysis will certainly keep you on track, while your efforts to grow and diversify the donor database will lay the foundation for sustained success.
Financial acumen will be key, as you monitor income and expenditure targets and provide timely reports to Executive and Board. Your role will also involve building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate, philanthropic, community, and staff networks. Leading and supporting the Fundraising team, rolling up your sleeves as needed, will ensure you foster a collaborative and productive culture that aligns with organisational values.
To excel in this role, you will bring substantial experience and proven success in fundraising within non-profit organisations or foundations. Your track record in developing and maintaining successful fundraising programs will be complemented by your expertise in financial budgeting and reporting. You will also have a knack for managing and motivating teams, building strong relationships, and influencing key stakeholders. Organisational skills will shine as you juggle multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines, all while developing innovative fundraising strategies and managing capital raising campaigns.
