‘Together We Change Lives.’
This is the mission statement that drives RSPCA Queensland – the State’s leading and longest established animal welfare charity. Dedicated to improving the lives of all domestic, farmed and native animals in need, it is a non-government, community enterprise that is primarily funded by donations from concerned Queenslanders.
Aiming to future-proof the organisation, a new long-term fundraising strategy is ready for implementation. The integration of fundraising functions has opened the door to an exciting new role. This is a special opportunity for a transformational leader who shines in both relationship building and digital communications.
To secure your chance at joining RSPCA to drive this bold strategy forward, you’ll need a strong background across regular giving, appeals major gifts, gifts in wills and more, with a proven flair for optimising high-value fundraising programs to meet ambitious targets.
Poised, passionate and personable, you are – of course – an animal lover. Familiar with enthusing and mentoring teams, collaborating across the business, engaging with supporters, building enduring relationships, navigating change, you communicate persuasively at all levels to inspire trust.
This is inarguably a senior role – with all that entails – and rewarded appropriately.
To meet the organisations expectations, you will need strong, entrepreneurial, creative and practical digital skills. You’ll be able to manage confidently, navigate change and inspire the team. You’ll bring strong and market proven relationship building and communications capabilities and the ability to execute strategies with a keen eye to “fit’.
But always – one of your major joys in life will be to start each day aware and thankful that, through your work, you are changing the lives of so many people and animals every day!
This is an exceptional opportunity …
Complex, people-centric and extremely collaborative, this role will be very rewarding to a calm and capable fundraiser with excellent IT skills and a driving passion for improving the lives of needy animals in Queensland. You will also have access to professional development to support your journey.
