An independent, non-profit organisation with a strong focus on equitable access to care, this financially stable, well reputed organisation is dedicated to improving health outcomes for people and communities across Queensland. For 20+ years, it has been capably run by a high achieving executive team and informed Board, with a standout CEO – who is now moving onto her next chapter.
Largely funded by government, this enterprise leads a consortium of 150+ contracted healthcare providers. These deliver services that provide people in urban, regional, rural and remote locations access to GP’s, medical specialists, and allied health professionals.
This valuable NFP is now looking to grow its footprint into broader community services. Along with strengthening partnerships, promoting new digital health solutions and helping enhance the capabilities of service providers, advocacy and diversified funding sources will be part of this exciting drive.

To lead this organisation forward, you’ll need to be a leader in healthcare sector with an appealing gravitas, experience in business, all-level connections to government and a practical knowledge across the healthcare system in urban, regional and/or remote Queensland.
Forward-thinking and inspirational, you’re a thinker and a doer, with innovative ideas and a tooled-up approach to driving growth and diversification. Familiar with digital transformation, data utilisation and the commercialising of internal systems, you’re skilled in making shrewd and productive data driven decisions.
A record of identifying and developing new sources of sustainable income for your organisation will add lustre to your application. As will your proven capacity to strengthen relationships within the health sector, key government contacts, and leverage existing outreach models.
It’s important that both hard and soft skills contribute to your core dynamic in this people-centric role, as many team members here have worked together for a long time, led by a CEO with over 20 years’ service. So, dynamic and driven you may (and should) be, with lovely interpersonal skills such as sensitivity, kindness and due respect to ensure a successful team integration.
