  • Current Situation

Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking an experienced and strategic fundraising leader to shape and grow a refreshed approach to philanthropy—at a time of exciting momentum and opportunity.

In this newly elevated role, you will play a critical part in delivering one of our most important priorities: a major capital campaign to support the development of new accommodation for young people experiencing homelessness. An understanding of faith based organsations will be highly regarded.

  • Organisational Plans for the Future

As Head of Fundraising, you’ll take the lead in building the structures, programs and partnerships that will underpin long-term growth in fundraising income. With strong support from the Executive and Board, and a high level of organisational buy-in, this is a rare opportunity to lead with purpose and make a tangible difference.   Success in this role will mean a clear capital campaign roadmap, increased philanthropic income, a high-performing team, and stronger engagement with donors and partners. You will also champion a culture of giving across internal and external networks.

  • About the Role

You’re a confident and capable fundraising leader who brings broad-based experience across the full spectrum of multi-channel fundraising. You understand how each stream contributes to a strong and sustainable program, and you know how to build structure, inspire support, and drive outcomes.  You will need to build and manage a small, high performing team to deliver – coupled with confidence in reporting and engaging with the Executive and Board.

    Ideally, you’ll bring experience across:

    • Major Gifts and Philanthropy
    • Capital Campaigns and Special Projects
    • Corporate and Strategic Partnerships
    • Bequests and Gifts in Wills
    • Individual Giving and Regular Giving
    • Appeals and Campaigns
    • Community Fundraising and Events
    • Digital and Multi-channel Fundraising
    • Fundraising Operations, Data and CRM oversight
