This is a full-time, 3‑month temp contract for an experienced professional with a strong continuous improvement background from the community housing sector. Based on the Sunshine Coast, the role offers a competitive rate and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, community-focused outcomes.

About the organisation

Our client is a well‑regarded, award‑winning Tier One community housing provider. As an independent, nonprofit organisation, it works closely with government, industry and community partners to expand and improve access to safe, affordable housing across Queensland.

The organisation has an engaged, passionate team and a culture that values practical ideas, collaboration and action. Entering a period of change and growth, it is focused on strengthening foundations, improving ways of working and preparing for its next phase.

The role

To support this work, we’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst who can quickly get across the business, ask the right questions and provide clear, practical insights.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll focus on:

  • Reviewing and improving business processes
  • Identifying inefficiencies, risks and opportunities
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working closely with leaders and teams across the organisation

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be expected to communicate clearly and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, translating complex information into plain English and helping people understand the why as well as the what.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this assignment, you will have:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a change or continuous improvement environment
  • Strong process mapping, analysis and documentation skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills – you can explain complex ideas clearly, logically and in everyday language
  • The confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels and build trust quickly
  • A practical, solutions‑focused approach and the ability to hit the ground running

Why consider this role?

  • A clearly defined 3‑month temp contract with purpose and impact
  • The chance to contribute to outcomes that genuinely improve lives
  • A collaborative, values‑led organisation
  • A Sunshine Coast base combined with a competitive rate

This role would suit an experienced contractor who enjoys stepping into an organisation, bringing structure and insight, and leaving things better than they found them.
