Use your talent for coordination and storytelling to strengthen the voice of a team dedicated to helping others.
- Full‑time role shaping clear, compassionate communications that strengthen a purpose‑driven organisation
- Join a supportive nonprofit team undergoing positive transformation and making a meaningful impact across Queensland
- Brisbane‑based position with flexibility available once established
Use your words, creativity and steady presence to amplify a purpose that changes lives.
When an organisation supports vulnerable people through some of the most complex and sensitive moments of their lives, its voice matters. Its clarity matters. Its consistency matters. As the Communication & Administration Officer, you help shape that voice, ensuring every message, resource and touchpoint reflects compassion, integrity and professionalism.
In this newly created full‑time role, you’ll bring structure, creativity and coordination to a fast‑moving environment undergoing positive transformation. You will support brand consistency, develop engaging content and materials, update the website and intranet, contribute to funding submissions, and assist with social media and publications. Alongside this, you will be an essential part of daily office operations – managing phones and inboxes, supporting events and working closely with a small, warm team that values flexibility, humour and a “pitch in” attitude.
Because this role has been built from the ground up, you’ll have the opportunity to shape systems, improve processes and introduce fresh ideas. You’ll need initiative, strong writing skills and the confidence to juggle multiple tasks while staying calm and organised. It’s a role for someone friendly, adaptable and proactive, who enjoys variety and thrives in a collaborative environment where no two days look the same.
You’ll join a genuinely supportive team that values authenticity, invests in wellbeing and embraces continuous improvement. You’ll be surrounded by people who care deeply about their work, their colleagues and the impact they make every day.
This is not a client facing role, but trauma‑informed communication is a core part of the organisation’s identity and your work will strengthen its ability to support volunteers, stakeholders and the broader community with clarity and compassion. You may come from communications, admin, marketing, fundraising or volunteer coordination, or you may simply have the right mix of organisation, initiative and talent with words. Experience in the nonprofit sector or with volunteers is an advantage, but what matters most is your attitude, adaptability and drive.
You’ll work standard office hours (with flexibility once established), receive salary packaging benefits and join a team that prioritises connection, care and culture.
If you’re looking for a role where your voice, creativity and initiative help strengthen a purpose‑driven organisation, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact every day.
