As part of a newly established finance team reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your proven payroll experience enables you to function in a multisystem environment, managing end to end payroll functions for around 150 staff nationally employed under EBA and SCHADS Award conditions.
This role is part-time – 0.6 FTE – Tuesday to Thursday payroll week and flexible on non-payroll week – providing excellent work-life balance and long weekends.
The tools and software (MYOB, SAGE, Salesforce) needed to process timely pay runs, leave accruals and reconciliations will be provided. Knowledge of these programs is preferable is preferable, but a professional who has worked across several payroll systems should adapt readily!
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will ensure compliance, accurate reporting and system integrity. As the go-to expert for payroll queries you will troubleshoot and streamline existing payroll systems and processes while providing responsive support to cross functional team members. You will have an eye for detail and accuracy, working autonomously while partnering closely with local and interstate team members.
