This modern and well-resourced fundraising hub operates under the umbrella of a large and complex religious based organization and has the good fortune to report to a wonderfully imaginative, professionally supportive director who is a leader in this field.
You’ll work as part of a collaborative fundraising team, with access to support from communications, digital and social media specialists. Innovation, cooperation, creativity, continual improvement and a happy team environment have made this one of the fastest evolving fundraising programs in the community.
Each year, this Foundation helps people through funds raised for four different values-based community entities.
If you’re keen to develop insight-based donor engagement strategies, take pride in project management and delivery and love to write stories that engage and inspire, this could be the role for you. A leadership role within the team, you will directly contribute to increasing donor acquisition, engagement and retention, and promoting bequests and endowments to fund vital programs.
This is a role where you’ll be flat out busy all day every day – and loving every moment of it.
Everything has a deadline; intelligent triage is an essential and organisational skills a must while balance, grace and humour are perhaps the most vital items in your entire toolkit!

From the initial detailed annual communications plan you draw up, through the writing and production of brochures, newsletters, videos, stakeholder communications and appeals, print, electronic and social media materials, along with advertisements, press releases and more, there’ll never be two days the same.
Sometimes, conducting interviews, coordinating graphic designers and printers; other times, leading, mentoring and motivating your team, you’ll be recurrently creating, tracking progress, measuring results and – always – coming up with better ways to do or say everything!
