“The little engine that could….”
If you’re the multi-skilled can-do driver at the hub of individual giving campaigns and appeals – and the invaluable ‘go-to’ in your non-profit organisation – whatever its mission – we want to talk to you about a brand new opportunity.
The “we” in this case is a science-centred, ethical and effective conservation foundation that specialises in nurturing and preserving marine eco-systems along the Queensland Coast. They’ve been quietly working away for almost two decades. But, with threats such as global warming, the time has come for them step up their work, increase activity and extend its profile.
With plans in place for further research and key actions, we’ve already begun to build a whole new team of passionate, super-skilled environmentalists. Skilled and dedicated fundraisers – like you – are also joining forces to help us identify the most passionate supporters of our ‘jewelled seas’ and offer them ways to help conserve the future health of Queensland’s coastline for many years to come.
In this position, you’ll work closely with the Director of Individual Giving to develop and implement a five-year strategy aimed at engaging with new donors from the community and its schools and workplaces.
Then, you’ll get down to the nitty-gritty that you know so well – the CRM, segmentation, creative concepts, writing, testing and all the rest of those special elements that make up your dynamism across multiple channels.
You’re a social media wizard and a story teller, an organiser and a doer. Strongly motivated, proactive, multi-skilled and creative, you love being a member of a passionate, dedicated and hardworking team and are happy to step outside your role whenever someone needs a hand.
But what makes you happiest of all is knowing that you’re invaluable. That you are the little engine that drives the big campaigns. And those big campaigns and appeals will fund projects that are destined to make a real difference in the effort to conserve our beautiful Australian coastline for future generations.
