Rare chance for a proven philanthropic specialist to take charge of a ‘green shoots’ unit & cultivate the operational processes to see it flourish.

  • Influential senior role across Philanthropic fundraising function
  • Bring experience in nurturing & growing major gift connections
  • Salary negotiable.

This esteemed non-profit is a vital and visionary entity that both involves and attracts a huge number of stakeholders. It holds some excellent contracts and has developed several successful commercial enterprises that help support its core business of emergency care and medical retrieval in Queensland.

With a supportive Board, dynamic management and expert professional teams in place, right now the focus of its Foundation is on stepping up to the changes and growth demanded by a modern world – meanwhile diligently preserving its traditional essence.

And while the fundraising situation continues to meet change and hum along nicely, expert leadership is still required to sensitively shape and nurture the relationships around Major Gifts (of $20K+), Bequests, Grants and Trusts.

Leading from the front, you’ll ensure that targets are reached or (ideally) exceeded, existing relationships honoured and grown and new friendships struck.

You’ll invariably offer supporters an outstanding experience as you and your team work harmoniously to develop sustainable big-figure funding for Queensland’s lifesaving aero-medical rescue services.

To succeed in this exciting senior executive leadership role, it’s anticipated you’ll bring considerable experience in managing multiple fundraising functions including major giving, bequests, corporate partnerships,  e.g. multi-channel appeals (DM and eDM), trusts and/or community fundraising, along with a record that evidences your special areas of expertise.

Strategically sound, emotionally mature, well connected and personable, you’ll be able to demonstrate a background that’s consistently strong in data analysis and reporting, excellent communication and relational skills.

Seasoned in the development and implementation of contemporary fundraising strategies and tactics, you also bring considerable knowledge around designing & managing all the processes and systems that support these activities.

Strengths in product management, the creation of innovative and compelling campaigns with high quality supportive collateral will add lustre to your application.  As of course will your record of writing significant returns on your expert cultivation of relationships across the philanthropic landscape.
