This organisation is the all-encompassing governing body for a broad and progressive Christian Church organisation that administers 250+ congregations along with multiple schools, colleges and many essential community service providers in Queensland. Both its systems and its relationships are inextricably connected and extremely complex.
In recent years, this Church has moved through a process of change to mature as a contemporary business with considerable ‘future proofing’ in place. Having helped achieve this important benchmark, the incumbent of this pivotal position is gracefully retiring.
So, a new opportunity exists for a capable, well experienced leader and ‘finisher’ to join the Leadership Executive. Integral to the Executive Leadership Team with its strategic and governance oversight of organisational operations, this role provides customer focused shared services across numerous vital functions. These include communications and marketing, information technology, people and culture, event management and executive support.
It’s a big, busy and pivotal role that requires a steady, capable and seasoned executive director with the knowledge and experience to embrace its complexity without the need for coaching and development beyond the obligatory onboarding.
To bring synergy and balance to the existing senior management group, you will need to be ‘a finisher’ – someone known for reliability in delivering all that they promise. An enthusiastic influencer who relishes the responsibility of bringing everything (and everybody) together to deliver smooth, positive outcomes. Your steady hands, broad shoulders and big heart make you the ‘rock’ on which a business can depend.
With the benefit of expertise acquired in a role of comparable seniority, size and complexity, you inherently understand the scope of this position and bring special proficiencies in building a culture of absolute accountability.

With significant experience leading strategic change, building and empowering strong customer service teams, acute business acumen, high level IT capabilities and the commitment to nurturing strong business relationships, you are known for your integrity, impartiality, honesty and ability to stay calm and focused under the most trying conditions.
For this role you will need a Current Drivers Licence and Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card). Presentation of a current National Criminal History Check must be made before appointment to the position can be confirmed.
