Preserve our precious Queensland coastline… Help deliver an ambitious five-year vision and program across all fundraising channels, fully supported by leadership and the board.
Science-centred, ethical and effective, this conservation foundation has worked for many years to nurture and preserve delicate marine eco-systems along the Queensland coast. Now, it’s time to step up its crucial work, expand its activities and seek backing from supporters around the globe.
With its Foundation re-structured and revitalised and a sizeable, cross-functional team of fundraising and development specialists all but locked in, this brand-new senior position has been created to ‘connect the dots’ across this ambitious program.
Developing best practice systems, policies and procedures to support their expertise, your work is all about understanding each function of the fundraising entity. You need to know what it is; what it does; how it connects and what needs to be done to promote healthy growth and continual enhancement of the donor experience.
Here, your expert knowledge and experience driving the engine rooms of other non-profits will empower you to manage the software systems that support the most useful results. Setting the agenda by collaborating and consulting with other executive team leaders, you’ll integrate each donor channel into a cohesive, synergistic entirety that guarantees the best possible levels of donor care and retention.
Leading a lean team, (presently) comprised of a database administrator, you’ll manage the workflow and effectiveness of gift processing functions and develop strategies that will continually upgrade gift processing performance and data integrity.
As you’d be aware from your previous work, this role brings a swathe of its own complexities. You’re very welcome to explore those by obtaining a Position Description from our office.
To be considered for this exciting role, you will need to demonstrate a number of universal and role-specific competencies such as personal leadership and influence; taking responsibility, planning, organising and self-motivating, teamwork, collaboration and an unerring determination to gain results.
Nimble, professional, passionate and committed, you bring an abiding concern for the prospects of the Earth’s natural resources and the conviction that it is within your power to help change the future.
