DATABASE EXPERT – FUNDRAISING

Here’s an exceptional chance for a CRM specialist to support a special Foundation, committed to conserving Queensland’s epic coastline

  • Newly structured analytic role in powerful Conservation Foundation
  • As a Raiser’s Edge/Blackbaud specialist, you control what comes in & what goes out
  • Located Brisbane CBD. Industry competitive package

Use your database wizardry to help deliver an ambitious five-year program of growth…

Science-centred, ethical and effective, this conservation foundation has worked to nurture and preserve precious marine eco-systems along the Queensland Coast for almost 20 years. Now, with an ambitious five-year vision and program ready to implement, it’s time to increase the intensity of its research-based conservation work and extend its profile.

Poised to step onto the global stage, it’s time for the Foundation to identify and connect with all potential supporters and donors to offer them ways they can help protect the future health of Queensland’s coastline for many years to come.

Plans are already in place for further key actions with teams of fundraising/development professionals gearing up to drive growth across all communications channels – social media, direct mail, regular giving, major gifts, planned giving/ bequest and corporate partnerships.

And that’s where you – and the ‘legendary magic’ you’re able to perform with a fundraising database – come in.

With this vital systems-based role, right at the core of a massive fundraising effort, you’ll work collaboratively with the Director of Supporter Services. The aim is to develop, maintain, analyse, segment, mine, harvest and control a meticulously accurate donor database that provides the professional development teams with all the intelligence they need to shine.

Your significant CRM experience managing databases via Raiser’s Edge and/or Blackbaud means you are already familiar with procedures for processing donations, receipting and reporting to ensure safe, always-reliable, secure data operations. You’ve probably even had some experience with data analysis?

But you’re hungry for more.  So, you welcome this opportunity to indulge your intuitive, technical, creative and analytical talents to extract those elusive patterns that can give your teams the edge they need to succeed.

A meticulous professional with faith in the power of structures, processes and procedures to mitigate risk and keep an organisation running like clockwork, you also offer great people skills with a warm and persuasive phone manner.

An enthusiastic, can-do approach, proactive attitude, genuine commitment to the conservation cause and well-developed time management and scheduling skills all combine to present a very appealing package.   But what makes you so very special is the unfailing ability you have to continue to produce calmly even when the seas get a little rough.
