Innovative, tertiary level curriculum designer for busy new role that is responding to change with freedom, flexibility & progressive thinking

  • Experience in adult education and/or vocational tertiary training sector essential
  • Quals in education, training & assessment, business or project management preferred

This fast-growing firm is an international member association that’s widely acknowledged across Australasia for its work in setting new standards to advance community and stakeholder engagement.

A peak body for a wide range of organisations, its members include councils, government organisations, construction, not for profits, environmental entities and – in fact – include any and all businesses that engage with the community. Under the direction of a dynamic CEO, its reputation and standards of excellence have grown to such a point, that the business is expanding apace.

So, the continuing piece of work is to upgrade its capabilities by elevating existing courses to align with university level qualifications. Developing a blended learning approach, the plan also includes launching a new series of complementary short courses to meet member requirements.

Broadly speaking, working collaboratively with the trainers, your role will be to manage the development and then launch, review and continually improve core education and training programs as you identify new and exciting professional development opportunities – and innovative ways to deliver these. As new programs develop, you will also be training and licensing existing trainers to deliver them to members and other stakeholders.

Meanwhile, you will also be providing invaluable support to the CEO as the International Change Initiative – especially the development of a global learning pathway – evolves and takes shape.

To be considered for this fascinating and fast-moving role, you need to be an experienced educational professional – and leader – with high level theoretical, educational and operational knowledge. Tertiary level experience would be great but is not vital.

If you have a strong background in designing adult teaching methodologies, techniques and standards in a way that suits the modern world – and the technical knowledge to back it up – we’d like to hear from you.

Bring qualifications in education, training and assessment, business or project management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and show us you have proven experience as a group communicator, trainer, effective business coach and mentor.

Right into what’s new and exciting in group facilitation, interactive workshops and experiential learning and engrossed by the ever-expanding digital learning experience, you also have some great ideas on how create new learning opportunities through the clever blending of a range of resources.

Since this is part of the remit for this role, your exceptional skills in developing memorable, top quality training programs, seminars, workshops, manuals and other collateral will add to your appeal.

A polished communicator, your enthusiasm and excellent interpersonal skills are reflected by your work ethic and attitude, nimble style and determination to always give of your best. Oh, and by the way, you must be able to travel around Australia and New Zealand if required.
