This is a very desirable place to work …

Values-driven, this dedicated not-for-profit organisation is committed to providing support and services to people with concerns relating to drug and alcohol, mental health, gambling and veterans’ wellbeing. This pivotal role is critical – adding lustre to an already admirable reputation, in our client’s quest to support more people to change their lives for the better!

This enviable culture of success has been built under the guidance of a skilled, stable and supportive leadership team in a genuinely collaborative work environment. Additional funding has presented an opportunity for the org to grow their footprint within QLD, NSW and SA.  So now is the perfect time for a dynamic, positive and energetic Purchasing & Procurement candidate, with hands on experience and an understanding of the entire procurement process, to jump aboard!

Working in a small team, the role is accountable for everything from purchase to supply, delivery and installation across set timelines in different service locations. It’s a busy role that requires a can-do attitude.

… but would it suit you?

If you like change, adapting to shifting business situations, being super organised and working with different people, this role will offer the versatility you crave.

If – as anticipated – you are coming from a role in a complex environment where you’ve developed and worked with established systems and processes and used your expert knowledge, understanding and consultation to inform key decisions and make things happen – then you already know what this attractive position entails.

But is it for you? It could be – if you’re always open to finding inventive solutions to make best use of available resources and super skilled in streamlining. You’ll also need a flair for interpretation of contracts and standards deftly aligned to funding agreements, deliverables, organisational strategies and allocated budgets.

But over and above your expertise in purchasing and procurement, your personality, enthusiasm, ability to adapt to an agile culture and a willingness to jump in and do are also very important to this happy performance-based NFP.

So…

… if you’d like to make a difference, love a busy role and really believe that all individuals should receive the right support in the right place at the right time, we want to hear from you!
