Are you a meticulous and experienced Estimator looking to join a successful team in a dynamic building company that is growing?

An exciting opportunity exists for a professional, qualified and experienced Estimator to join a dynamic construction team in assisting with costing aspects of the business, evaluating projects and providing accurate estimates.

Our client is a building company that specialises in bespoke contracting works. Services are offered to clients throughout Queensland. This a small, hands-on organisation located in Brisbane’s southern suburbs where the ambience is easy-going, yet fast paced, interactive and growing. Their tailored skills and innovating solutions recognise them as leaders within their fields. That sounds very impressive. And it is. But that said, great projects happen when you have even greater people!

Reporting to the Construction Manager and Director, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Working closely with the Project Manager on each project
  • Tender site meetings
  • Take offs and quantifying
  • Quotation requests and management thereof – from suppliers to sub-contractors
  • Compiling tender submissions
  • Assist the project team in managing project cost control
  • Liaising and building strong working relationships with clients
Essential Skills Required:
  • Construction White Card
  • Current QLD Driver’s Licence
  • At least three years’ experience in an estimator role preferred
  • Energetic, motivated, excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, with the ability to prioritise work accordingly
