Windsor Group have been supporting our clients within the government, commercial and nonprofit sectors through their disaster relief efforts over a number of years. With the current forecast for Cyclone Alfred in place we are seeking expressions of interest from candidates who are available on short-notice and able to work flexibly and in pressurised environments.
There will be a range of roles required, depending on what support is required for recovery. Shift patterns may require a 4-day on, 2-day off rolling roster. with potential early/late shifts.
As you can imagine there is a heightened sense of uncertainty in the community. In these roles you will be required to help out as needed, this could even include making tea, sweeping floors. All hands on deck! Please remember that you need to be flexible and support the recovery effort by doing whatever (lawful) work is asked of you – all jobs are important!
We are looking for candidates with strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in customer service. Proficiency in data entry systems is essential. The ideal candidates will be able to provide compassionate support to individuals experiencing trauma and effectively troubleshoot and manage issues. Flexibility in handling ambiguity and rapid changes is crucial. Additionally, experience working with nonprofits, charities and community partners is highly valued.
